Illustrations for Hooghoudt Jenever packagingHooghoudt Jenever, a Dutch gin from my hometown Groningen, comes out with a series of taste-experiments. You drink a gin and a beer next to each other, known as a 'Kopstoot', an 'Headbud'. Nothing new really, in the Netherlands they've been doing this for ages. But Hooghoudt Jenever selects new beer - jenever combinations in their 'Kopstoot-kabinet. The lovely brothers Ronner from graphic design studio 'De Ronners' asked me to deliver the illustrations for their packaging design.

My friends Felix and Georg from Playdis! normally let their artists create music for ads and film. This time they got LA based musician Mocky, to play live at Anita Berber in Berlin, and I got to portrait him for the invitation. It's the first gig in their Playdis! Display series. Looking forward to hear and draw some more!
