systemform - wrapping papersystemform asked us to design a systemform - wrapping paper. We came up with a design that showcases the printing and perforation techniques they use so many times while printing forms. The 'open here' triangles and line-perforations don't only create a nice pattern but are also very functional, and make it easy to open up the present.

systemform calendar 2015, the year as a blank slateFor 2015 systemform let's you fill out your own year... Every new page of the calendar contains 3 big fields to fill out the year, the month and logo. The small fields need to be numbered by the days of the month. As always systemform guides you with some questions, all you need to do is fill in the answers and your year folds out in front of you.
Bronze Gregor International Calendar award 2013, for systemform enlospapier-kalenderThe first Continous Paper Calendar in the world with a length of 94 meter and 40 centimeter. Manual, hammer und needles are included. Apart from the date the calendar also shows what's possible in digital printing nowadays.

Our CI for systemform won bronze in the category design, corporate identity, at the ADC (Art Directors Club Germany) last weekend! After already having received a PrintStars Gold award and a Gregor International Calendar Bronze award for this project, we feel our hard work has definitely paid of.
Illustrations for Tom Aikens Restaurant LondonWith a menu that reacts on the seasons, the look of the stationary will do the same. Together with the designers I developed illustrative moods for the seasons. It will be used as background on the Tom Aikens menus letterheads, business cards and website.
Florence and the machine record sleeve for the project Secret7"I was asked to contribute to the project Secret7" in London, combining music and art for a good cause. They take seven tracks from seven artists around. Then get creatives from around the world to interpret artwork in their own style for of one of the 7 tracks. The sleeves are exhibited and sold and the money is donated to a good cause
Guest teaching at Edinburgh College of ArtSince four years, every year photographer Jane Stockdale, graphic designer Ryan Joiner and me meet up to do a couple of days guest teaching and portfolio-crits at the Edinburgh College of Arts. The graphic design department under the sublime supervision of Zoe Patterson is a great place to teach and learn!
A text by Hannah Murgatroyd for artist Jen Ray for her solo show at Haus Am Lützowplatz, Berlin. I was asked by Hannah and Jen and turn the text into a book. The book, 'Manual No. 1' is displayed as an integral part of the exhibition.

Specialist french fry shop, “And the Friet” just opened in the Hiroo district in Tokyo and I'm very pleased to have my illustrations be part of their corporate identity. With the back of the packaging just as interesting as the front, there's always something to discover. Only wish I could taste one of those friets!
