One week illustration workshop at the Merz Akademie Stuttgart
Taking over the walls of the Merz Akademie in Stuttgart with my illustration workshop for their 'Pathway week'. Prinsjesdag Hats
In the Netherlands every third Tuesday in September is 'Prinsjesdag' ( Prince's day ) the opening of the Dutch parlaiment. It's also called 'Hoedjesdag' ( Hat's day ) as it's a tradition to wear a hat while attending the festivities. People go out of their way, including Queen Maxima, to score the 'Best hat of the year'. All eyes might be on her and the politicians, though winners are found on the heads of those guarding the festivities.

Sketch hour at the Rijksmuseum Amsterdam
Just came back from Amsterdam where I found so much inspiration at the Rijksmuseum.
So many amazing paintings, I could have stayed forever. But only managed to sketch a bit of the beautiful swan of Jan Asselijn before they had to throw me out. I'll be back for more sketching soon!
